Plan Your Fence Project

STEP 2.
Determine the height of your fence.

The fence can be 3 to 9 feet tall. Aluminum posts come in four heights: 50″, 74″, 108″, and 144″. Starting at 6 feet, we double the posts or recommend the Ezfence HD.

STEP 3.
Layout your composite fencing.

How many sections you need will depend on how long your fence is. Each panel can be up to 80 inches long, and at the very least, it could be 2 feet long. You can make an L, a U, or a T.

*The space between posts should not exceed 6.3 ft. center to center.

STEP 4.
What finish for the black aluminum posts?

For the posts, top and bottom beams, post caps, base caps, and shutters, we offer two finishes. Chrome has a shiny finish that looks like a mirror. The finish on Premium is a classy matte.

STEP 5.
Determine the post mounting option.

There are a variety of ways to build a fence project and set up fence posts. It depends on what kind of surface you want to put your fence on. The posts can be buried in concrete or set up on top of a deck frame, retaining wall, or concrete slab. If you want to move the posts, you can put them on a steel pile or a screw pile.

STEP 6.
Accessorize !

Add openwork moldings (like stone, plants, or bricks), a central black aluminum board, louver board, Lattice screen, or laser-cut decals to your fence to make it look better.

STEP 7.
Add a fencing gate.

You can add a single gate (up to 52 inches) or a double gate (up to 8 feet) to your fence if you need a way into your backyard.
