How do you prepare the ground for artificial grass?

A: Mark the perimeter and excavate 4 inches deep into the ground. Clean and level out the area before laying the weed barrier.

Do weeds grow through artificial grass?

A: Yes, they do. That is why it is important to install a weed barrier as a protection to prevent their growth through the turf.

Can artificial grass get wet?

A: Yes, it can but it is fine. The turf has drainage holes that allow the water to go through and release into the soil.

Can dogs pee on artificial grass?

A: Yes, they can. SGC has specific products such as Zeolite Granulate and Pe-51  that help to remove urine smell and clean the turf without damaging it.

How do you clean artificial grass?

A: You can simply use your water hose and/ or a broom to brush away anything including leaves, mud or dust. The use of the vacuum cleaner and such is not recommended on artificial turf.
